Big Sur is a vacation destination perched on the coast of California about 30 minutes south of Monterey/Carmel. We make a trip yearly to go camping with Tee-Jai. Located on the majestic Highway 1 which travels the length of the California coastline, Big Sur is known for its beautiful landscape combined with amazing restaurants and unique hotels. The weather in September is usually very nice. Sunny during the day, and pleasantly cool at night. Recommended attire would be to bring a jacket and/or sweater, as it will get warmer during the day (around 80’s),but might get colder at night with the possible onset of fog (50-60F).

Paion is the name of a private estate located along the coast just 10 miles south of Big Sur. Three acres of grass field are surrounded by trees perched atop 200 foot cliffs diving to the Pacific ocean below. The site itself provides panoramic views of the pristine coastline. Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held outside at Paion. Please note our attire recommendations, as you will be exposed to the elements for the entire evening.
